The Book of Bill sows a lot of seeds for the future of Gravity Falls, between setup for Dipper and Mabel taking on the multiverse and the return of Bill Cipher, but it also does a lot to recontextualize the past! In a section dedicated to dreams, Bill gives us a peek into the zodiac mindscape, providing insight on many characters such as Wendy, Pacifica Northwest, McGucket, Grunkle Stan, Mabel and Dipper! Dipper's dream revealing that his parents may actually be getting a divorce, which changes EVERYTHING we know about the show! This is why Dipper and Mabel were really sent to Gravity Falls for the summer, why Mabel was so upset at Ford offering an apprenticeship in Dipper and Mabel vs the Future, desperate to be tricked by Bill/Blendin Blandin and why she wanted to stay in Mabel Land during Weirdmageddon!
