Dr. Shah Investigates: Make-Up Wipes
As you all know, I’ve been a long time opponent of make-up wipes, but I decided to put them to test. They’re actually NOT too bad at removing this UV-sensitive make-up concoction that I made! If followed but a gentle cleanser, I think it’s actually decent at removing make-up
Reasons I Still Don’t Like Them: 1. Dragging on the skin can cause inflammation, hyperpigmentation, and irritation, especially around the eyes 2. Very drying on the skin, as it strips away your natural oils with the make-up and sunscreen 3. Disposable wipes are not great for the environment
I recommend a cleansing balm or oil followed by a water-based cleanser instead!
